Our mission
Pain is complicated. Guidance should not be.
Live Pain Free exists to give people with chronic pain the same quality of information their doctors have — in plain language, without a waiting room.
The story
It started with a bad back and a browser full of contradictory advice.
Chronic pain is one of the most common health conditions in the world — and one of the most poorly served by the internet. Search for "lower back pain exercises" and you will find a hundred conflicting lists, most of them written for SEO rather than for the person in pain.
Live Pain Free was built to be different. Every guide starts with the research: what does the clinical evidence actually say about this condition? What exercises have been tested in randomized controlled trials? What equipment, if any, has demonstrated benefit beyond placebo?
"The goal is not to replace your doctor. It is to make you a better patient — someone who understands their body well enough to ask the right questions."
We are not a clinic. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat. What we do is translate the research into language that a person in pain can actually use — and point clearly toward professional care when that is what the evidence recommends.
Affiliate transparency: Some of our content includes links to products. When we recommend something, it is because the evidence supports it — not because of commission rates. We disclose all affiliate relationships and will never recommend a product we would not use ourselves.

What we stand for
These are not aspirational values. They are the constraints we built the site around — the things we decided before we wrote a single word of content.
By the numbers
What we stand for
Condition hubs covering the most common chronic pain areas
Free core content — no paywalls on essential guidance
Sponsored content or paid editorial placements
If we would not recommend it to a family member, we do not publish it
We believe that access to good information is a form of healthcare. Chronic pain is isolating enough without having to wade through misinformation to find relief.
How we work
Four principles that guide every decision
Evidence first
Every exercise, every recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We cite our sources and update content when the science changes.
Compassion over clicks
We do not optimize for engagement at the expense of accuracy. If the honest answer is "see a doctor," we say that.
Accessible to everyone
Pain does not care about income. Our core content is free, always. We earn through affiliate recommendations and optional support — never paywalls on essential guidance.
Transparent about limits
We are not a substitute for medical care. We are a starting point — a way to understand your body well enough to have better conversations with the people who treat it.
